Program Director of Model Landscape – HUM

Amit Mehta, an alumnus of the esteemed IMS Indore, has forged connections with global entities like the United Nations Development Program and the Asian Development Bank through multidisciplinary programs focused on Himalayan regions at grassroot and policy levels.
He has contributed significantly to various initiatives on Sustainable Mountain Development for the last 15 years.
He has graduated in Biology from Himachal Pradesh University and holds a Masters’ Degree in Management from the Institute of Management Studies, Indore (IMS – Indore).
He has served mostly in various parts of Himalayan regions and holds specialization in Sustainable Mountain Livelihoods, Community Based Tourism, Strengthening local value chains and Community Led Conservation.
