Wellness and Conscious living Workshops for Army
Key Milestones Achieved
Wellness and Conscious living Workshops for Army & Para Military in Border Areas of India.
The military is responsible for defending the integrity of the nation and this necessitates the armed force to be physically, psychologically and emotionally healthy. Although the army performs well at the border and in insurgency areas, occupational stress is a major risk for the soldiers at these crucial spots and can even hamper their performance to a large extent. Art of Living through Himalayan Unnati Mission (HUM) under the thematic areas of work “Health and Wellbeing “wants to ensure the holistic well-being of the soldiers of the nation, especially those working in the border Himalayan States.
The Training Program incorporates practical, simple and effective methods which draw upon ancient timeless wisdom and have received wide acclaim. The program includes mind–body techniques of breathing exercises, physical movement, relaxation, and mindfulness. Which provide army and para military personnel with a number of self-care tools/techniques that can be used to reduce stress and cope with unpleasant feelings. The appeal of the Training Programs cuts across all barriers of religion, caste, creed or socio-economic status.
Our internal feedback mechanism reports that more than 90% participants feel more energetic, free from stress and achieve greater mental focus and clarity. The impact on the working environment is evident from the fact that more than 90% participants report higher preparedness to take on new challenges and improved efficiency and interpersonal relationships.
Through this program we intend to reach out to our workforce at borders to make them mentally stronger, happier and not bound by health challenges.
