A techno commercial professional with a career  spanning over 20 years, he has worked extensively in the field of environmental finance,renewable energy, climate change ,rural development and rural agritech.

He has worked in leadership roles with some of the leading blue chip majors in South East Asia with an exposure to a wide variety of industries.

As  Climate Change Finance professional, Chaitanya  has been closely associated with  UNFCC and  various international financial  institutions such as KWF,ADB,GAZPROM etc .

Chaitanya also is  passionate about Policy linked with energy and development sector and has carried out a number of impact studies and policy studies for various government schemes such as Kusum , Ujawala ,Ujala etc, On Solar electrification of Primary Health Centres –PHC ,Microgrid,  under various flagships and  for consulting majors  and international donor bodies.

He has worked closely with UNDP, Ministry of Nonconventional and Renewable Energy-MNRE, Department of Science and Technology-DST,International Solar Alliance ISA ,  various concerned government departments,  Ministries ,Members Of Parliaments for wide range of projects

Chaitanya believes energy is the fulcrum for any development in a society and its role played out in health,education,livelihood, agriculture etc.

Chaitanya had been instrumental in co-initiating and leading the ‘Light a Home Project’  at Art Of Living Foundation and  has been instrumental in conceptualizing and implementing some of challenging projects pan India and in remotest Himalayan regions and border regions impacting a a number of lives.

An extensive traveler, an avid scuba diver, Chaitanya  is a graduate in food technology and management, with a deep interest in art, culture, history  and archaeology  and love for  langauages.
