Sunita Arora brings a wealth of grassroots experience from her work within Himalayan communities in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand, where she has dedicated herself to social welfare initiatives. Her collaboration with the Government of Uttarakhand includes spearheading Project Kavach, focused on ensuring the safety and well-being of children, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities. Additionally, she has led efforts in drug de-addiction and village development projects.
In her capacity as a District Social Welfare Officer, concurrently serving as a District Probation Officer, Sunita has significantly contributed to enhancing Observation Homes and Places of Safety for children entangled in legal conflicts. She has played a pivotal role in transforming villages across Pauri Garhwal and Rudraprayag districts into model communities through the landscape development schemes of the Government of India.
Beyond her professional role, Sunita is a dedicated wellness and life coach, particularly for children and adults. She actively advocates for women’s rights and hosts workshops on menstrual hygiene for young women.
Recognized for her eloquence, Sunita engages diverse audiences across various platforms, including her YouTube channel, where she motivates individuals of all ages to lead purposeful lives through her compelling public speaking.
Academically, Sunita holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from GGDSD College, Chandigarh, and an MBA in International Business from Delhi School of Economics. She brings with her over two years of managerial experience in banking with ICICI Bank.
