She embarked on her career as an acclaimed student in art and design, specializing in handcrafted textiles and arts. With 18 years of dedication, she acquired diverse diplomas, forged professional affiliations, and earned a Bachelor’s in Business Management Studies & Economics. Her upbringing instilled a passion for art, culture, and holistic wellness, including spiritual sciences, Indian dance, music, and yoga. Growing up in a traditional Indian business family, she absorbed financial and entrepreneurial skills, which merged with her creative drive. Her involvement with the Chaudhary Foundation has been fulfilling, particularly in spearheading the Unnati Project, empowering Nepalese women through skill development while preserving traditional arts. Now, she is fully devoted to expanding Unnati’s reach, enriching artisanal ecosystems, and fostering cultural dialogue and sustainable impact across South Asia.

UNNATI:

UNNATI, an organization dedicated to nurturing Nepal’s traditional knowledge systems, green economies, women’s empowerment, and environmental sustainability, operates under the acronym Uplifting National, Natural, Artistic, and Traditional Industries. Despite Nepal’s rich biodiversity and cultural heritage, economic challenges persist, especially in cottage industries and rural enterprises. UNNATI addresses these issues through five pillars: upscaling local enterprises, promoting artisanal industries through platforms like Siya, enriching arts and culture,  through Farm to Table initiatives, and establishing the Unnati Cultural Village as a hub for cultural exchange and hospitality. Collaborating with various stakeholders, UNNATI aims for impactful, sustainable transformations and welcomes partnerships to further its goals.
