Our capacity building programs are designed to impart the necessary skills training methods and tools to administrators, governing bodies, local communities and the youth belonging to different Himalayan regions.

Identifying the need

Hum grass-root volunteers are inducting ‘household baseline surveys’ to identify the needs and gaps in the existing ecosystems.

Conserving biodiversity & upgrading infrastructure

Strategies built in consultation with all stakeholders are being implemented to impact the biodiversity and social infrastructure of villages located in the border and other regions of the Himalayas.

Diversifying livelihoods

We aim to implement the concept of ‘circular economy’ to promote diversified livelihood modes and enhance the income of communities, specifically through new strategies and micro plans based on baseline studies.
