Puneet S. has dedicated his life to the “Environment” and “Himalaya” and is presently based in  Uttarakhand “Dev Bhumi” Himalaya State of India.

Over a career span of over 20 years, Puneet has worked and served in Government as well as Corporate sectors in various capacities including project management, editorial, monitoring & assessment,  publishing, policy-drafting, etc.

He has served in autonomous institutions under Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEF&CC), NITI Aayog, along with The World Bank, Asian Development Bank Publications, etc. at the international levels working on Strategy formulation, sustainable framework designs, policy drafts  preparation, publishing new journals, books, periodicals, etc.

Academically, Puneet has done Masters in “Ecology & Environmental Sciences” and B.Sc. in  “Mathematics”. Professionally, he has procured rich experience of Project Management in government’s  National Missions, Corporate business domains, Intergovernmental Transboundary Regional Cooperation,  Schemes, Programs, etc.

He has contributed bits and bytes on devising National Missions on sustainability of the Himalaya and its  natural resources. He also contributed in organizing various Consortiums, Seminars, Conferences, etc.  towards uplifting scientific temperament in the Himalayan youths in different States and UTs of the Indian  Himalayan region and bringing them together from different walks and talks of life.
